Warren Overview

The bedroom community of New York City was ranked by CNNMoney.com as sixth in the nation’s best places to live. Warren gained this recognition due to its June carnival, top-rated school systems, significantly-larger residential lots, working farms, and close proximity to New York City. As one of the state’s highest-income communities, the affluent township was originally colonized in the 1720s by European farmers. Bordering Bernards, Bridgewater, Green Brook, and Watchung, Warren is home to a 93-acre preserve and park called the Wagner Farm Arboretum. The suburb has a rural feel where the majority of residents own their homes. The significant variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks attract residents of all backgrounds. With great-rated public schools, safe neighborhoods, and numerous outdoor activities available, Warren is very family-friendly. The beautiful town continues to have small farms, open spaces to explore, as well as large shade trees.
