Branchburg Overview

With the history of the American Revolutionary War, the township was named after its location where it merges with the Raritan River. The New York City suburb has a sparse suburban atmosphere with incredible outdoor activities and top-rated public schools. The safe, family-friendly neighborhoods also seem to attract a lot of young professionals. Bordering Readington, Bridgewater, and Hillsborough, Branchburg is home to the 2012 14U Babe Ruth World Series Championship baseball team. Home to the South Branch Schoolhouse and the Neshanic Station Historic District which have been both added to the National Register of Historic Places, the township has incredible historic landmarks for its residents to visit.
