Haddonfield Overview

Named after Elizabeth Haddon, an early settler of the area, Haddonfield has been established as a historic preservation district. There are many ponds and lakes located throughout the borough, offering a serene locale that borders Haddon Heights, Lawnside, and Tavistock. The borough is home to Hopkins Pond which covers over 33 acres as well as several parks that provide residents with hiking, baseball, small playgrounds, and more. Haddonfield has both public and private school options. The Haddonfield Memorial High School has been awarded with the National Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the US Department of Education. Renowned for its many special community events, this borough offers a fall festival, summer community sidewalk sale, weekly farmer’s market, and other incredible engagements for its residents. The sparse suburban feel offers lots of restaurants and coffee shops which happen to attract more retirees.
